Val has excellent breeding by the stallion Northern Lights TOF (Nordan x Malvina TOF) and out of the mare Miss Cindy Lynn (Skyler x Merri’s- Dolly TC).  His granddam Malvina is one of the top producing mares in the United States of show and breeding Haflingers.

 

Val is a very sweet guy who loves being with humans.  Val is doing beautifully in his training.  He is kind, easy to handle, has a great work ethic and is willing to try new things.

 

He is started under saddle and over fences.

 

Dressage judges love Val!  In addition to comments like ‘elegant horse’ , ‘good energy’, ‘well-started’, ‘lots of potential’, they’ve awarded him 3 blue ribbons and 2 second place ribbon in his first 3 schooling shows.

 

Val stands at just about 14 hands and is a versatile prospect for pony club, hunt seat, driving and trail.  He would also do well in western riding disciplines.

 

 

Val has been sold to a family in New Jersey who will to use him as a family horse to teach grandkids to ride and be a companion to another Haflinger gelding.
