Style is a winner in the dressage ring!  At the 2004 National Haflinger show, Style won the high-point award in youth dressage with his rider, Stephanie Charles.  He continues to excel in his Training Level classes, with scores averaging in the mid 60% range. 

 

Style has been shown on many occasions.  He finishes ‘in the ribbons’ and has perfect show manners.  Judges comments include ‘beautiful horse’, ‘steady and consistent test’.  He is definitely proving himself in the show ring against all breeds of horses. 

 

Style would be perfect for a beginner dressage rider or as a ‘kinder, gentler’ mount for an experienced rider looking to get back into showing. 

Style has been sold to a wonderful rider and will spend part of his year in Lexington and part of his year in Florida.  Style will be doing polocrosse and other fun and competitive ventures his new human companion talks him into!

Style is a forward mover.  He is working a very nice training level test.  Style has a good understanding of his laterals.  He is soft and sensitive — and is a great horse for someone to learn on.  Style always does exactly what his rider asks of him — a great schoolmaster!

 

He stands just over 14 hands.  He is well-suited for dressage and, since he is so versatile and athletic, Style could excel at other disciplines as well making him a good sportpony prospect.  He has also started over fences.

 

Style has been trail-tested and kid-tested and is safe at both.  He loves human attention and would be a wonderful equine companion.

 

He has excellent breeding with American Express NTF as his sire and Darlena LVH, a Midas Touch NTF daughter.
