In 2006, Sierra was 3rd Nationally in the AHR/USDF All Breeds Training Level Dressage.  Sierra was 6th place in the USDF Region 2 Dressage Championships, Training Level Jr/Young Rider ridden by Stephanie Charles.  Sierra carried Stephanie to the High Point Youth Championship for her ride in Intro Level Dressage at the 2005 AHR National Show.  This was only the 2nd time Sierra had been to a show.

 Go Sierra!

Sierra Gold of Cedar Lane

(Sierra)

Sierra has been sold to a wonderful home in Kentucky and will continue in dressage training and showing.  Watch for Sierra on the show circuit.

Sire:  A Lot of Gold

Dam:  Shea

Born:  1/2/2002

Sierra is an energetic, personable, forward-mover with a great work ethic.  She is a beautiful driver and is in training under saddle.

Sierra is just starting in dressage but already wins every class she enters.

But then her sire, A Lot of Gold, born to the mare Dolma, an Austrian import, has many of the same traits.  He is a well-trained, versatile, mannerly stallion that has been instrumental in converting horse lovers to Haflinger fans throughout his career.

Sierra’s grandsire is Aladdin Van de Peelkant, a National Champion stallion.

Shea, Sierra’s dam, is a beautiful mare bred by M & B Farms of British Columbia.  She is a elegant daughter of the great producing stallion Sterling Silver (Sturmer x Dalia) and out of Schikka (Afghan II x Schone), both Austrian imports.

With her breeding and disposition, we expect wonderful foals from Sierra when the time comes.

Sierra has just graduated from Intro to Training Level dressage and is doing well.  The judges love her!
