Arizona has been selected by a family in Ohio to be part competitive trail horse, part dressage horse and part all-around-part-of-the-family horse. We’re sure they all have a great time together!
Arizona is a sweet-natured, natural, eager learner with a sunny disposition – quite possibly the most cheerful horse in existence. He is nicely forward with fancy movement sure to impress in the dressage ring.
Well-started under saddle and harness he is an exceptionally quiet and willing student. Arizona is very sensitive to the aids and strives to please his rider. His conformation and movement are well-suited to a successful ridden dressage career, according to Thomas Poulin, world-renowned dressage judge and trainer, who evaluated Arizona as a three-year-old.
As a youngster, Arizona travelled extensively, competing in halter and in-hand trail classes. His first dressage show was the National Pony Cup Dressage in Wilmington, OH in 2009. He will continue the dressage show circuit at Training Level throughout 2010 in and around the Lexington area.
Arizona is ready for his permanent home and is anxious to build a solid partnership with a quiet, confident rider serious about dressage. With loads of personality to share, Arizona’s new owner will find in him a fun, capable equine companion. |
